Meet The Team

Sydney Princess Cruises consists of a motivated, determined team of people who believe every guest who cruises with us should be provided with a unique experience. Our attention to detail will ensure your guests will be talking about your function for years to come.

Colin Thwaites - Director
Col co-founded Sydney Princess Cruises in March 2001 and is responsible for the overall management, operation and strategic direction of Sydney Princess Cruises. He comes from a mechanical background and has owned 5 different businesses to date, and is also a qualified General Purpose Hand (deckhand).

Boating, Sydney swans, motorsport, sport in general, self improvement, dining out, family, favourite food: steak, Thai, yum cha

Sonia McPhee - Director
Sonia co-founded Sydney Princess Cruises in March 2001 and plays an avid part in the decor used and overall fittings used in the business. Sonia has owned and operated 4 different businesses and occasionally works as the cruise director on select cruises.

Manly sea eagles rugby league team, family, plastic surgery, self improvement, loves Versace, favourite food: Thai

Grant Purcell - Business Development Manager
Grant has been with Sydney Princess Cruises since September 2009 and is an exciting addition to the team. His passion for business and personal development is a promising sign of great things to come. We are looking forward to exciting times in the future with Grant on board.
Interests
Playing sport and keeping fit, personal development, money, economics, world politics, having a good time and enjoying life.

Belinda Curmi - Cruise Planner
Belinda joined Sydney Princess Cruises in February 2012 in the role of Cruise Planner. She has since proved herself a valuable member of the team in sales and dealing with our clients' needs.
Interests
Music, psychology, dancing, spending time with her young daughter and boats. Favourite food: mangoes

Christine Pizzuti - Operations/Administration Manager
Christine joined Sydney Princess Cruises early in 2012 and since coming onboard has proven a valuable asset to the organisation. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic can re-assure our clients they will receive everything they have asked for to make their event a success.

Art, photography, sport, cooking, public speaking. Favourite food: Chinese and Thai

Luke Dwyer- Head Skipper
Luke has been with Sydney Princess Cruises since their beginning, he drove the first ever cruise the company provided back in 2001 and has been working on Sydney Harbour since 1995. Luke provides an outstanding service to all guests by providing a safe voyage and loves to show off all of Sydney Harbours hidden secrets. A common statement we here from our guests is "I have seen more of Sydney Harbour today than any other cruise I have ever been on".
Make sure you visit him in the wheelhouse as he will be more than happy to have a chat and give you a drive of the vessel.

Sean Gordon- Relief Skipper
Sean has been with Sydney Princess Cruises since 2003 provides outstanding service to all guests and has an extensive amount of experience having navigated barges, fishing boats and numerous charter vessels. Sean also likes to show every guest Sydney Harbours hidden secrets.
